American Language Institute Temara in Morocco has organized internship program especially for international students in English teaching, and cross cultural Exchange Program. Under the Morocco internship program, the intern engages in daily project activities. In most cases, interns develop a report paper in a particular area of interest by working with the American Language Institute Temara staff. Generally, the director of this project serves as a supervisor for the intern. As an intern, you will stay with a host family who lives near the project or wherever you want depend on your choice, the director of the project will work to help you successfully complete your field report for a garanteed and perfect internship in Morocco through our school. Please contact American Language Institute Temara administration if you need any help regarding information and materials for your internship program. In order to get the most out of your internship position in our Center, American Language Institute Temara recommends at least two weeks of language and culture programs for Arabic or TEFL traning or Teaching in our School. These programs will provide you with a necessary, comprehensive start in exploring the every day issues of Morocco. Many times, language difficulties hinder the effectiveness of interning. Furthermore, it is possible to organize extra tutorials with experts in particular areas with additional fees. American Language Institute Temara suggests that you correspond with us if you have special needs for your internship.

Teaching English in American Language Institute Temara, Morocco
Moroccan schools lack English teachers. The demand for English-speaking teachers is very high in this market. To fill this gap, your volunteer contribution in teaching English would be highly appreciated by the Moroccan people. The majority of Moroccans wish to increase the English skills of their children, and are very welcoming to volunteers in this project. Teaching English in Morocco is very challenging; however, our knowledgeable staff will provide you with a proper orientation and teaching materials, including a textbook for the class. Most of the students where we place volunteers already understand basic English. You will be teaching a group of 10-15 in a class.
If you want to use your free time to explore rural Morocco, please talk to our national coordinator. You can enjoy your explorations accompanied by the students. Teach English in Morocco and explore the wonders of North Africa.

TEFL/TESOL Course
We offer our TEFL/TESOL Course which meets international standards and follows The English Teaching criteria with over 120 hours of class time and observed teacher practice. Our fully accredited program is a recognized member of London Academy and CIABT Academy and pebble hills univesity fully in patrnership with.
We provide the unique opportunity to experience evolving from "student" to "teacher". This hands-on program is designed to engage the trainee with active participation. We maintain small class sizes to promote a more intense environment and whenever possible trainers will model teaching techniques and activities which trainees will use in the classroom. We adopt ,essentially, the communicative approach. We take a modern approach in all of our courses, utilizing cutting-edge technology in a multi-cultural environment. We also include a variety of activities based on course books, audio-visual aids and specially-created materials. We emphasize effective development in the four language skills (reading, writing, listening and speaking) with special attention paid to communication and conversation in different contexts and situations.
Unlike many certificate programs, we provide the opportunity to teach both children and adults which is important when looking for work abroad.
The TESOL Certificate- Teachers of English to Students of Other Languages- provides training for those who have little or no teaching experience who wish to enter the English teaching profession.
Our course is externally moderated with all major segments graded before successful completion of the course.
The course is four weeks which entails 120 hours of classroom time. The first two weeks are mostly classroom sessions. The main components included are;

In the first two weeks, our trainees are students and while moving into the second two weeks, they assume the role of teacher by participating in Observed Teacher Practice. After all, the best way to learn anything is to actually do it.

Our Business English Teacher's Course is an intensive 30 hour teacher development program designed to increase the competence and confidence of teachers working in the ever- expanding area of Business English teaching. This week long course is designed for qualified and practicing teachers who are either working in this field or are interested in doing so.
